You Too Can Achieve Your Health and Fitness Goals
Hey my names Mark Halwani. I’m a personal trainer and online fitness coach working outside of Anytime Fitness in Riverwood. I help people get strong physically, mentally and get in the best shape of their lives!
If you want to get rid of that stubborn fat and get in shape, as quickly as possible, then read the rest of this blog post.
See, when it comes achieving these goals, there are 3 very common mistakes people seem to make, over and over again…
There is so much crap online about how to eat in order to losing weight that it makes me sick. I spent 10 years of trial and error to figure this out for my own body transformation and when I got it, the truth shocked me…
Most people follow a diet or a nutrition plan right in order to lose weight, isn’t that right? WRONG. What happens when you stop following that diet or nutrition plan? What happens to your weight then, when you go back to your old lifestyle?
You GAIN weight… That’s why there was a study done, and it showed that 75% of people that lose weight end up gaining it back in the 1st year, 85% gain it back in the 2nd year and 95% of people that lose weight end up gaining it back in the 3rd year… What does that tell you?
The reason why diets and nutrition plans work to lose weight is because they follow a simple concept. They put your body in what’s called a calorie deficit. That’s when your body is burning more calories than what it consumes.
For people that don’t know what a calorie is, it’s simple… another word for calorie is energy.
The problem is most diets and nutrition plans are so restrictive that they are not sustainable.
If you want to lose 6, 12, 20, 50kg or more… then look my friend, this is going to take time. And that’s okay! There’s no reason you can’t enjoy it and make this the best thing that’s ever happened to you.
So… The most important things about a nutrition plan are these 2 things; Number one, It needs to be aligned with your goal, that is; whatever your goal is, your nutrition should be supporting that along with your training.
And the second thing and the most important is adherence. That means it needs to be consistent, sustainable.
The sooner you realise that there are no quick fixes when it comes to nutrition, there is only science and find someone that can help set your nutrition plan up for success using this method, the sooner you will achieve your goals.
I’ve been training in the gym since I was 14 years old, and you know what? 95% of people that go to the gym have absolutely no bloody idea what they are doing! A lot of my clients used to tell me they used to feel embarrassed or intimidated to go to the gym… I’d be thinking “These people have no Idea what they are doing, and you’re embarrassed for seeking a professional to help you do it right?”
I mean, everyone is doing the best with what they know right, a lot of people that go to the gym just copy stuff online, and they do it incorrectly, and then do something stupid that’s driven by ego and end up injuring themselves, all while intimidating the poor girl that’s just starting out and wants to get stronger…
Ok rant over.
There are 3 reasons why people don’t see results with their training:
- First of all, they don’t have a structured, planned program to help them achieve their goals. They just do whatever they feel with no planning or progressing in mind.
The program should change every 4-6 weeks and the progress should be built into the program.
- The second thing is correct technique. If you spend half an hour with me, I guarantee you, you will see better results than going to the gym for 2 hours on your own.
- And number 3 is motivation, which basically falls under mindset. This is a result of purely because of lack of progress.
If you’re seeing results every single week (which you should), why wouldn’t you keep going to the gym!
And finally, this may be the most important thing you need to change in order to get the results you’re really looking for.
This may be the best hidden benefit for starting your fitness journey.
Think about it, when you think of who you are… do you have an image of yourself? How do you look in that image, how do you feel about yourself?
My goal for you is to change that image and feeling about yourself first.
We do that by learning key lessons from our training in the gym. And THAT to me is what being a Fit Achiever is about.
It’s about believing in yourself first. When times get tough, I want you to get stronger.
When you think of yourself, I want you to see that image of the version of you that you love.
When other people talk or think about you, I want you to understand that, that’s a reflection of them, you are good enough for you and that is all that matters.
Everything we do and share together in the gym will work towards building your mind just as much as building your body and life.
This is why I’ve created my Fit Achiever program.
We can either work together in person at Anytime Fitness in Riverwood, or I can coach you online through my online coaching program trailered to you and your goals.
As I said at the start of this blog post, my name is Mark Halwani, and I’ve coached hundreds of people over the years to transform their body and life…
I’m certified as a strength level 1, and level 2 coach. As well as a certified nutrition coach. I have been coaching people for more than 6 years to lose weight, get strong and to become Fit Achievers.
If you’re interested in starting your fitness journey book in your free strategy session with me over the phone and let’s work out a plan.
This will be an actual strategy session to work out, where you are right now, where you’re looking to go and the steps needed to get there.
I’ve been training myself for more than 15 years and I can tell you the difference between the people that achieve their health & fitness goals, and the people that don’t! Want to know what it is?
The people that do achieve their goals take a whole lot of action. And I promise I’ll be saving you a bunch of trial and error and you will go so many more benefits than just losing weight and getting in shape.
If you’re serious about achieving your goals, I’ll be with you every step of the way. You’re the one that needs to take the first step.
I do need to mention that I don’t work with just any type of client, we need to be a good fit. That means I make sure that I can actually help you or not before I take you on board as a client.
If I feel like I can help you get you to your goal, we’ll take the next steps, if not… that’s okay too. No hard feelings, you’ll walk away with a plan on how to get to your goals as quickly as possible.
I also only have 10-12 in person clients I see at any one time, and because of the 1 on 1 nature of my coaching program and quality control, I only take on a limited amount of online coaching clients too.
So if you’re ready for a big change, book in your call now and I’ll talk to you soon.
